We have a great chance for an Endoscopy/ CSSD Technician to join our clinical team on a part‑time basis with a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight. Must have experience in Endoscopy and minor procedures. Monday to Friday adaptable roster, no on‑call, no public holidays, closed 3 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Decontaminate and clean specialised Endoscopy equipment and surgical instrumentation
Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
Manage documentation and enter sterilisation data
Ensure equipment and stock are available for peri‑operative staff
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You
You have a genuine passion for customer service, providing world‑class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilisation and Certification in GENCA training
Proven experience in endoscopy and surgical instrumentation
Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Sound working knowledge of NSQHS standards, AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
