The Ventia team at our Defence Base Services site in Victoria Barracks Southbank, is in need of a reliable, upbeat and responsible Bartender to join the team. The Officers Mess prides itself on the quality of the beverages it serves and has an extensive wine cellar. You'll play an important role in creating a outstanding experience for every guest.
This is a casual position offering a minimum of 10 hours per week.

Wednesday 3:30pm-7:30pm
Friday 2:30pm-8:30pm

Training and support
What we're looking for
Great customer service skills
Bartending experience
Ability to operate POS system
Experience making cocktails (advantageous)
Interest in quality Australian wines, spirits and beers (desirable)
Basic food preparation (cheese platters and heating snacks)
Ability to work independently and proactively
Opening and closing the bar
General cleaning
Mandatory requirements
Australian Citizenship
Current RSA Certificate
Ability to complete an Australian Police Check and Pre-Employment Assessment as part of the on-boarding process
