Workfast is looking for reliable Labourer to join our Port Douglas, North Queensland team.
Night Shift Only
$56/ph + penalties
10th August start date

This position will see you working as a Labourer on a quick paced retail and shop front fit out project. You will be responsible for supporting skilled tradespeople, completing manual labouring tasks, and assisting with the safe and effective delivery of works on site.

Key Duties:
Assisting tradespeople with retail and shop front installation and fit-out works
Manual labouring including lifting, shifting, and site preparation
Operating basic hand and power tools safely
Loading, unloading, and moving materials around the site
Maintaining a clean, secure, and organised work environment
Supporting general site operations as required

What We’re Looking For:




Previous experience with shop front or retail builds is highly regarded
Solid background in construction, fit-out, or labouring roles
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and reliability (especially suited for night shift work)
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Current White Card (required)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
