The Family:

This easy-going family is seeking a warm, experienced nanny to support Mum at home while caring for her 3-year-old toddler and 10-week-old baby. The role will involve working alongside Mum, helping to create a calm and enjoyable environment for both children while providing an extra pair of capable hands throughout the week.

The family is looking for someone who is kind, fun, and able to build a robust bond with their toddler, who is currently very attached to Mum. They are hoping to find a nanny who will become a trusted and familiar presence within the home for the long term.

Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration:
Monday: 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Thursday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Friday: 11:30am – 5:30pm
Start: Flexible
Hourly rate: Negotiable
Potential for additional hours when Mum returns to work part time next year

The Role:
Supporting Mum with the care of a 3-year-old and 10-week-old baby
Engaging and entertaining the toddler while Mum attends to the baby
Assisting with newborn care when required
Helping with the evening dinner and bath routine as needed
Light household duties to support the family (not the primary focus)




Walking the family dogs would be appreciated if the nanny is happy to do so
Working collaboratively alongside Mum to ensure the household runs smoothly

The Ideal Nanny:

The family is looking for someone who is kind, easy-going, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. They would love a nanny who is fun, engaging, and able to build a close relationship with their toddler while providing calm, confident support with a newborn.
A proactive attitude, willingness to work as part of the family team, and flexibility as the family's needs evolve will be highly valued. While no travel is currently required, the family would appreciate a nanny who may be open to travelling with them in the future if the prospect arises.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Previous experience caring for babies and toddlers
Warm, patient, and nurturing personality
Confident working alongside a parent in the home
Reliable, proactive, and organised
Full driver's licence preferred (family vehicle available initially)
Comfortable around dogs (dog walking welcomed but not essential)
Long-term mindset with flexibility as the family's needs grow
