Salary package: $124,638 - $166,338 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position

This Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Level B/C) role spans research, teaching and service. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate Psychology teaching and supervise Honours, Masters and PhD students. Research is open to all areas of psychology, with a preference for cognitive psychology expertise. The position also involves mentoring junior staff, taking on leadership responsibilities as appropriate, and contributing to the School’s academic culture and community engagement.

The School

The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was established in 2023 to bring together expertise from Medicine and Psychology to develop a unique educational and research workplace. The focus is to produce psychologists, researchers and medical graduates who practice compassion, conscience and qualified excellence, and have knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and culture.



The school partners with a number of healthcare organisations to deliver teaching and training including but not limited to ACT Health, community practices throughout the ACT and secondary NSW.

The College
