Your recent role
In this position, you will be based in the workshop, completing high-quality fabrication, welding, and assembly work. You will be involved in the build of crane beams and hoists, including full fabrication, mechanical fit-out, and testing. The role requires working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. You will also undertake a variety of tasks including machining, cutting, bending, rolling, grinding, drilling, and assembling steel components.
What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualified Boilermaker
Strong fabrication experience in a workshop environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings independently
Experience working to tight tolerances and specifications
Competency across fabrication processes including cutting, bending, rolling and assembly
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical & Police Check
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
