Salary: As per Victorian public nursing and midwifery EBA
Location: Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg
Responsibilities
Work across a variety of maternity and specialist areas, including Birth Suites, Post‑Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU, and the Emergency Department
Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family‑centered care approach
Provide best‑practice patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary team
Participate in education support and teamwork activities to enhance clinical practice
Handle shifts in a rotating roster, ensuring continuity of care across all maternity settings
Qualifications
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in maternity services as a registered midwife
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem‑solve
Compassionate,
adaptable and positive approach to patient care and management
Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a team-oriented team environment
Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, or in the process of obtaining them
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
