Unlock your potential with a prestigious opportunity alongside an award-winning, data-driven industry leader! A energetic and experienced Technical Business Analyst is invited to join a highly respected Data Platforms team driving impactful decision-making across the enterprise.
You’ll be a technically astute Business Analyst joining this Data Platforms team, supporting the delivery of cloud-native data solutions across the enterprise. You’ll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution, translating requirements and enabling scalable, compliant data architectures using Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue.

Key Responsibilities;
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for data platform initiatives
Work alongside data engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals
Analyse source systems, data flows, and transformation logic to support ETL/ELT development and integration
Develop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, and mapping documents
Support testing and validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy,



completeness, and performance
Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams
Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworks

To succeed in the role you will have;
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data-centric projects
Robust understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue (hands-on exposure preferred)
Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas, and transformation logic
Experience with SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
Familiarity with Agile delivery, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD settings
Excellent communication skills-able to translate technical detail into business values
Exposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Athena, Redshift)
Experience in financial services, government, or other regulated industries
