We're partnering with a quick-growing fintech in the business payments space to find an Account Manager . This is a hybrid role (phone + in-person) where you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value clients, helping them get the most out of their payments platform.
You’ll own and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, building genuine relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to your clients as they scale. You'll proactively spot opportunities to add value, develop tailored account strategies, and work cross-functionally to make sure clients get a first-class experience at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, focused on retention and strategic growth
Identifying and executing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Building tailored account plans aligned to each client's business goals
Partnering closely with clients to understand their short- and long-term objectives
Tracking account performance and key metrics
Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Support to deliver excellent outcomes for clients
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in Account or Relationship Management
A solid customer service mindset and track record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with CRM systems and everyday business software
Genuine interest in fintech and the online accounting / business payments space
A results-driven, self-starter attitude — you take initiative and run with it
A knack for building fast, authentic rapport with partners and clients
