About The Role

Maintenance Co‑ordinator – Outdoor Specialist

Youthworks Outdoors seeks a full‑time Maintenance Coordinator to support the Shoalhaven property. The role ensures the venue meets quality, safety and operational standards while providing effective maintenance services for our youth programs.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of Shoalhaven & Kangaroo Valley properties, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
Coordinate maintenance contractors, ensuring scope of work is completed on time and within budget.
Make recommendations to the Centre Manager regarding changes to scheduled maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and legislation.
Oversee maintenance staff, assigning tasks based on skill sets and priority.
Assist the Centre Manager in recruitment, training, mentoring and performance management of maintenance staff.
Adhere to expenditure limits approved by the Centre Manager and process invoices and payments within the required timeframes.




Identify prospects for process improvements and suggest strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
Personal Christian faith and a demonstrated commitment to Youthworks’ vision and values.
Experience working in landscaping, gardening, greenkeeping or bush care.
WorkSafe NSW licence(s) relevant to maintenance operations.
Relevant qualifications in horticulture, greenkeeping or related fields.
Proven knowledge of industry and safety standards.
Valid first aid qualifications.
Current driver’s licence and reliable personal transport, as public transport is limited near Shoalhaven Conference Centres.
