About the Role
/n
Working closely with our Compliance Manager, this full-time position offers a agile mix of HR and safety responsibilities across our operations. You will play a key role in keeping our people safe, our business compliant, and our workplace culture thriving.
/n
What You Will Do
/n
/n
Lead staff onboarding and provide ongoing support to employees
/n
Monitor training programs and ensure all staff maintain current safety qualifications and certifications
/n
Conduct regular site audits and inspections across projects
/n
Maintain and update compliance records in line with Akron management systems and legislative requirements
/n
Prepare and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for routine and ad-hoc projects
/n
Support incident investigations and carry out risk assessments
/n/n
What We Are Looking For
/n
/n
Full working rights in Australia without sponsorship
/n
Minimum 3 years experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
/n
Experience in construction, trades or similar environments preferred
/n/n
Audit Qualifications
/n
/n
Experience with the Federal Safety Commissioner WHS Accreditation Scheme desirable
/n/n
/n
Solid communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
/n
Proficiency in computer systems
/n
Valid driver's licence
/n/n
