Administration Officer supporting workforce programs that serve children and young people in the Victoria youth justice system.

Fixed term, full‑time role earning $81,496 – $98,955 per year, plus super.

Youth Justice is responsible for the statutory supervision of children and young people in contact with the criminal justice system in Victoria. We work with families, stakeholders and service partners to promote rehabilitation and positive change.

Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality administration and coordination support to the workforce strategy and support team.
Maintain accurate workforce data, spreadsheets, records, and document registers.
Coordinate meetings, workshops and team events, including preparing agenda papers, booking rooms and following up on actions.
Manage shared inboxes, respond to enquiries and refer matters when needed.
Support workforce projects, improve efficient processes and follow relevant laws, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in human resource management, organisational design, workforce planning or a similar field is desirable.
Robust Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills, including advanced Excel formulas,



pivot tables and charts.
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to resolve issues and make informed decisions.
Ability to use data to prepare reports and support planning.
Effective communication skills, an inclusive approach and the ability to build positive working relationships.
