Your next Opportunity:

Based in Baulkham Hills, we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as aSenior Laboratory Technician working mainly in soils testing. Working as part of a team, this role reports directly to the appropriate Section Head and indirectly to the Laboratory Manager.

What you day will look like:
Conduct testing on quarry and recycled material accordance with laboratory work instructions, AS and RMS test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
Other duties as directed by the Section Head and Laboratory Manager.

What we are looking for:
A commitment to safety and quality




Previous laboratory soils aggregates materials testing experience - NATA accreditation desirable
Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline such as Civil, Chemical or Materials is desirable but not essential
Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data such as QestLab (in soils)
Knowledge of Australian and Industry testing standards
Strong analytical skills and a customer focus
