Permanent Role | In office | Western Sydney

We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to join our client in Western Sydney . This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for the stability, security, and performance of the organisation's IT infrastructure while driving continuous improvement across networking, servers, cloud, and cybersecurity.

This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in the implementation, configuration, and support of infrastructure platforms, as well as leading technical troubleshooting and complex issue resolution.

What you'll be doing:
Lead and support enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, and cloud platforms
Manage Cisco LAN/WAN, Wi-Fu00i, routing, switching, and firewalls
Maintain Windows Server, VMware, and Hyper-V environments
Drive cybersecurity initiatives using technologies such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Proofpoint, and Microsoft Defender
Manage patching,



vulnerability remediation, backup, and disaster recovery
Provide technical leadership, vendor management, and act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure issues

What we're looking for:
Proven experience leading IT infrastructure in an enterprise workplace
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, VMware, and Hyper-V
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and security platforms
Experience with patch management, backup, and disaster recovery
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
