Estimator required to join a Tier 3 principal contractor based in Inner Sydney to work on various projects within the commercial construction space.

This contractor is a Australian-owned and nationally established business, with a solid presence in the mid-sized commercial construction space. They pride themselves on the successful and timely delivery of projects valued up to $15m.

As the Estimator, you will be responsible for:
Creating tenders from first principles
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
Risk analysis of project via the plans and also programs
Collecting and analysing the scope of works to estimate the cost of labour, machines, subcontractors,



time and any other associated costs which may impact the project
Setting programs and budgets from structure through to handover

To be considered for the position of Estimator you will require:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
Experience in estimating projects valued between $1m to $15m
Construction Current Build Fit out & Refurb experience is highly regarded
Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market including sub-contractors
