About the Roles

We are seeking to fill a number of Senior Sous Chef roles at The Boathouse North Wollongong. As part of our amazing kitchen team you willdeliver high-quality sophisticated food and and an exceptional dining experience to our guests. As a Senior Sous Chef you will be responsible for:
Delivering on trend, relevant, seasonal,



seafood focused food offering from the kitchen;
Ongoing maintenance of all food offerings and their delivery in the kitchen;
Sourcing growth prospects, activating ideas and concept delivery in this well-equipped kitchen in an iconic heritage building;
Ensure that food is prepared and delivered to guests in line with our standards of quality and service.

About you

To be the perfect addition to The Boathouse Group, you will have 2 years of prior experience in a Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef role within a high-paced, high-volume workplace where you’ve demonstrated your strong leadership and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. You’ll also have:
Experience mentoring a large team and leading busy services;
A strong background in Contemporary Australian produce led cooking;
Experience with local and Sydney suppliers.
