What this role looks like
/n
/n
Process rates related activities, including but not limited to:/n
/n
Notices of sale
/n
Processing and issue S603 Certificates
/n
Assessment of ratepayer overpayments & processing of refunds
/n
Pensioner rebate processing & validation
/n
Reconciliation of Rating System to Rates General Ledger Accounts & Valuer General Valuations
/n /n
Investigate and maintain returned rate notices/mail
/n
General rating tasks and enquiries & investigations
/n/n
What are we seeking in our new team member
/n
/n
3+ years rating experience in Local Government
/n
Intermediate skills in Excel and Microsoft Office Tools
/n
High level communication and organisation skills including correspondence,
analytical & interpersonal skills
/n
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
/n
A thorough knowledge & understanding of Local Government Rating Legislation, Valuation of Land Act and other related legislation
/n/n
