United Air Conditioning and Mechanical Services – Darwin NT
United are a highly respected, locally owned commercial Air Conditioning & Mechanical Services company operating within the Darwin and surrounding areas.
United are seeking a Service Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the Service Department, including Repair & Maintenance contracts with the NTG and various private clients and their minor project works contracts.
The position is permanent/full time only.
Range of Duties:
Manage a Service Team made up of a Service Coordinator, AC Techs, TAs, installers and apprentices.
Offer technical assistance to the team when required.
Manage contractual cost and reporting obligations of maintenance contracts.
Manage Jobs to ensure they are completed within contracted time frames.
Manage jobs from the start, all the way through to invoicing to client.
Liaise with clients and ensure they receive a high level of service and communication.
Develop and submit quotations for repairs and maintenances.
Manage small upgrade and replacement works.
Manage and maintain Maintenance Schedules.
Financial reporting directly to the Directors.
Ensure a high quality of workmanship for service and repair jobs.
Develop, train, and grow the Service Department’s expertise.
Applicants should have the following:
Full ARC licence, restricted electrical licence and NT Driver’s licence.
Ability to receive an NT Police and Federal Government clearances.
Commercial air conditioning and Mechanical Services experience.
Central plant CHW system and BMS experience.

Excellent communications skills. Is punctual, reliable and well presented.
