Senior Contracts and Procurement Specialist - Drilling & Completions

Hancock Energy has a full time prospect for a Contract and Procurement Lead to join a growing team supporting onshore oil and gas projects throughout Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement contracting strategies aligned with company principles and market intelligence.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop scopes and minimise commercial risks.
Negotiate, finalise and prepare contracts for execution
Lead tender development, bid evaluation and supplier selection.
Draft, review, and manage contracts and variations.




Support development of Contract & Procurement processes and systems.
Develop and maintain accurate records in contract management systems ensuring compliancy.
Provide advice on procurement timeliness and contract obligations.
Manage service providers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Procurement and Contracts
Proven experience developing Contract and Procurement systems and processes.
Experience in Drilling and Completions services scope development, supplier qualification, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, contract finalisation, award and administration
Valuable supplier management and negotiation skills
Solid analytical and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including across technical and commercial teams.
