Greenhill & Hillside Aged Care are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cold Larder Cook / Chef to join our friendly catering team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality cold meal items, ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious and enjoyable meals.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare salads, sandwiches, desserts and cold meal components.
Assist with meal plating and presentation.
Ensure food safety, hygiene and infection control standards are maintained.
Complete food safety documentation and temperature monitoring.
Monitor stock levels and advise of ordering requirements.
Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

About You




Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or Cold Larder Cook.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable).
Knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
Experience in aged care or healthcare catering is highly regarded.
Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for providing quality meals for older people.
