About The Role
As a Development Blasting Miner, you'll play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient mine development activities across the underground operation.
Key Responsibilities Include
Supporting safe and efficient mine development activities
Charging underground development headings
Installing and retrieving Blast PED units
Maintaining compliance with explosives handling procedures and site standards




Supporting operational requirements through relief coverage in other positions as required
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrating strong safety leadership and teamwork

About You
We're looking for someone who is committed to safety,



works well in a team environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.
You'll Bring
A strong commitment to personal and team safety
The confidence to speak up and challenge unsafe behaviours
A positive and collaborative approach to work
Strong organisational and planning skills
The ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance standards
A current Australian Driver's Licence with manual driving capability
A current Blaster's Licence or the ability to obtain one
Essential Experience
Minimum 3 years' underground hard rock mining experience
Experience in mine development activities
Experience handling and charging explosives underground
Strong understanding of underground mining operations and mine services
Proven ability to work safely in a production-focused environment
