This is a pivotal leadership position within our quarantine operations, where you will oversee the day‐to‐day management of quarantine facilities and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
The Quarantine Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of biosecurity and operational excellence, directly contributing to the company's reputation and success in the management and logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of quarantine facilities, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies
Manage and supervise quarantine staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management
Monitor quarantine protocols and procedures to ensure strict adherence to biosecurity standards and best practices
Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment and animal welfare conditions to maintain compliance
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, records and reports related to quarantine operations and inspections
Liaise with relevant government agencies, veterinary professionals and regulatory bodies regarding quarantine matters
Respond to and resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely manner
Develop and deliver staff training programmes on quarantine procedures and regulatory compliance
What we're looking for
Proven experience in quarantine management or facility operations within a regulated environment
Strong knowledge of quarantine regulations, biosecurity protocols and relevant legislation
Demonstrated leadership and management experience with the ability to supervise and motivate a team




Excellent organisational and administrative skills with proficiency in record‐keeping and documentation
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with government agencies and stakeholders
Problem‐solving abilities and sound judgment when handling operational challenges
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance
Physical ability to perform duties within a quarantine workplace
