Rocket is looking for an Account Director to join our Sydney office.
To join us at this level, you'll bring significant experience in digital agencies and a track record of managing both clients and people.
Ideally you've already been an Account Director.
If not, you're a senior Account Manager who is already leading others and ready to step up.
In addition to having strong digital marketing experience overall, having genuine depth in at least one of digital media, SEO or digital creative is a big plus.
About The OpportunityThis is both a leadership role and a client role.
Key aspects include:
Reporting to our Client Services Director and owning a portfolio of clients while leading a team of three (account managers and senior account managers).
Running your own clients directly, and acting as the senior point of escalation for client challenges across your portfolio.
Owning commercial outcomes across your portfolio: retaining clients, growing accounts, and spotting opportunities to do more for them
Holding your team accountable for driving great results for clients, delivering an outstanding client experience, and working in line with Rocket's established ways of working.
Coaching and developing your account managers so they do their best work.
Working with our specialists across Digital Media, SEO/GEO, Social Media, Data & Analytics and Creative to drive the best outcomes and experiences for our clients.
Leading client workshops, strategy sessions, presentations and senior client conversations.
A commitment to continued training and development in all things digital and creative.
