The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and project teams by preparing accurate quotations and ensuring customer requirements are translated into practical and cost‐effective solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, building specifications, and project documentation
Completing take‐offs and preparing accurate, detailed quotations
Assessing project requirements and selecting appropriate products and solutions
Preparing quotes and orders using internal estimating systems
Liaising with customers, builders, contractors, architects, and internal stakeholders
Supporting phone‐based sales activities and assisting with customer enquiries
Following up quotations and maintaining strong customer relationships
Working collaboratively with production, sales, and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in an Estimator role
Industry experience within the aluminium, glazing, construction, or related manufacturing sectors
The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and building specifications
Experience preparing accurate take‐offs and detailed quotations
Solid numerical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with measurements, calculations, and costing
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
Confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders via phone and email
Sound computer skills and the ability to work across multiple systems
The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlinesExperience using V6 estimating will be highly regarded
