About The Role
As a Test Analyst within the IT Service and Quality Management team, you will play a key role in ensuring technology changes delivered through projects and business-as-usual activities achieve high-quality business and technical outcomes.
Reporting to the Testing and Quality Manager, you will develop and deliver effective testing strategies across a diverse technology environment, including bespoke applications, system integrations and off-the-shelf solutions.
About You
We're looking for someone with solid analytical, critical thinking and communication skills who can design effective test coverage, adapt their approach to different technologies and delivery methods, and collaborate with project teams, stakeholders and vendors.
While you may not have experience across every area of testing, you'll have a solid foundation in testing principles, a willingness to learn and a collaborative approach to delivering quality technology outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Demonstrated software testing experience in a variety of environments requiring flexibility of approach
Experience in managing and/or coordinating testing and test design for small to medium teams or projects.
Can describe a variety of approaches taken and the factors that led to these approaches (e.g. People. architecture, domain, technology).
Experience applying a variety of approaches to test execution (e.g. Exploratory test management, tool-assisted, code-driven, delegation/coaching, statistical/heuristic).
Applying these to different aspects of testing (e.g. Functional, performance, usability, accessibility, analysis, reporting, design)
Excellent oral and written communication skills in support of strategy, planning, reporting and improvement,
applying different approaches for a variety of stakeholders.
Qualifications
Degree level qualifications and subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
