Providing personal care: bathing, washing, showering and preparing meals within a client's own home.
Prompt medication and support clients to access the community i.e shopping and social activities
Provide social support within the home any given time of the day (live in care included)
Take responsibility of the shift while on duty
Liaise with other professional staff in carrying out care plans
Preferably should have a background experience in social care however we provide extensive training.
Holds an SVQ2, HNC in Health and social care, or is working towards the qualification, qualification or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication in English
A full UK driving licence and car are essential.
Proof of right to work in the UK.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) application and also register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting.

To look after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the Clients using a person-centred approach
To observe and promote the Client's human rights and the principles outlined in the health and social care standards
To evidence that care is based on dignity and respect choice, compassion wellbeing and responsive to their changing needs
To create and maintain good skilled relationships with Clients, their family and friends and the wider agencies
To adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Potters Health Care's policies, procedures and guideline
