About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated staff experienced in food services to bring joy to our resident's day.
As a Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs that meet nutritional and hydration needs, special requirements and preferences of our residents.




Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:
Performing basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals.
Preparing, presenting and serving / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified diets
Plating and presenting food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirements
Requirements
Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate
Previous experience working in a food services setting and/or at an aged care facility
Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision
The successful incumbents will need to be available to work across a variety of shifts & days.
