About the Role
Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Community Clinician 26+ to join our growing team on an ongoing full time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting adults experiencing acute episodes of mental illness, while contributing to their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
Conduct urgent and routine mental health assessments in line with clinical standards
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and pharmacological interventions
Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans in collaboration with consumers and carers
Provide individual, group and family-based interventions
Monitor mental and physical health and support holistic care
Facilitate access to appropriate internal and external services
Undertake risk assessment, safety planning and discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and data integrity
Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance activities

About you
You are an experienced and compassionate clinician who is committed to recovery-oriented practice and delivering high-quality mental health care.
You bring robust clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have
Registration/qualification in one of the following:
Nursing (with mental health qualification)



– registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Social Work (eligible for AASW membership)
Psychology – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Occupational Therapy – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health setting
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, standards and frameworks
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
