About the role
This is more than a traditional infrastructure management position!
You'll be responsible for leading and evolving the technology foundations that support our business, customers, and products.
You'll work closely with senior technology leaders to drive infrastructure strategy, strengthen cybersecurity capabilities, improve operational excellence, and ensure our platforms can scale as the business grows.
You'll have ownership across cloud infrastructure, technology operations, security, resilience, governance, and team leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and hands‐on levels and thrives in fast‐paced, high‐growth technology environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Infrastructure & Cloud Leadership
Lead the performance, availability, and reliability of our infrastructure environments
Oversee cloud platforms, networks, systems, and operational technology services
Drive infrastructure scalability, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with engineering teams to support platform growth and technology modernisation
Security & Risk Management
Strengthen and mature our cybersecurity posture across the organisation
Lead security governance, risk management, and compliance activities




Ensure infrastructure environments align with security best practices and regulatory requirements
Support audit, risk, and compliance programs
Operational Excellence
Establish and maintain high-performing operational processes and service standards
Lead incident management, problem resolution, monitoring, and support functions
Drive automation and standardisation initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability
Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and resilience planning
Leadership & Strategy
Contribute to infrastructure and security strategy alongside the CTO and Technology Leadership Team
Lead infrastructure transformation projects, upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements
Manage vendor relationships and third‐party technology partners
Develop, mentor, and grow a high‐performing infrastructure and support team
Manage infrastructure and security budgets, forecasting, and planning activities

What We're Looking For
10+ years' experience across infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering, or technology operations




Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure, platform, or security teams
Experience within fintech, SaaS, payments, technology, or other high‐growth environments
Proven success delivering infrastructure transformation and operational improvement initiatives
Experience managing technology vendors, budgets, and strategic technology investments
Strong experience operating within complex and evolving technology environments
Technical Expertise
AWS, Azure, or modern cloud environments
Infrastructure architecture and operations
Networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing
Cybersecurity and infrastructure security controls
Identity and access management
Monitoring, observability, and operational tooling
Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
Windows and Linux environments
DevOps, CI/CD, and modern platform engineering practices
Governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Personal Attributes
Strong leadership and people management capability
Strategic thinker with a hands‐on approach
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Highly analytical with strong problem‐solving abilities
