Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Cleaner role based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across commercial, industrial, and community facilities, including offices, classrooms, shared spaces, bathrooms, and site amenities.
Day-to-day tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, waste removal, and cleaning high-touch areas to support health and safety standards.
The role also involves using cleaning equipment and products in line with company procedures, reporting maintenance or safety issues,



and following biosecurity and site-specific compliance requirements.
The Cleaner works as part of a supportive team, adheres to schedules and checklists, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and inclusive work setting.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and consistency in cleaning tasks, including surface cleaning, floor care, and waste management.
Candidates should possess knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, including adherence to workplace health and safety and biosecurity protocols.
Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to follow cleaning schedules, complete checklists, and prioritize tasks across multiple areas.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and clients on cleaning requirements and site access.
Candidates should possess reliability and a strong work ethic, including punctuality, willingness to learn, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, construction site cleans, or facilities maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working safely with equipment.
Availability to work full-time on-site on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, and flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts as required.
