Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria.

About The Role
The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne has an opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our team.
We have vacancies in our Primary Care, Specialist Care and Oral Surgery Departments.
This is a great opportunity to gain skills and to work and learn from other highly experienced Dental Assistants and Coaches, with the support of our amazing Team Leaders.

We recognise that our Dental Assistants are critical to the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and effective clinical care.
Your Responsibilities Include
Clinical Chair-side assisting with a Dentist or Specialist on the ward.
Providing oral health education and promotion to our patients.
Preparing, maintaining, and managing the clinical environment, including equipment,



materials, and instruments, in line with the treatment plan, to enhance efficient patient care.

You Will Have
Ideally, 3+ years of experience working chair-side assisting.
Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Well-developed communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
