What is the Role?
The Economic Regulation Authority is seeking two Regulatory Officers to join its Regulation Division.
One position is in the Licensing and Customer Protection Team (LCP), and the other is in the Alternative Electricity Systems Team (AES).
The Regulatory Officer,LCPassists with activities in the Licensing and Customer Protection team including undertaking customer protection related research and analysis, managing licence amendments and reviews, engaging consultants, reviewing procedures and policies, and contributing to the assessment of licence applications.
The Regulatory Officer,AESassists with activities that contribute to the administration of the newly developed Alternative Electricity Services (AES) framework and supporting the energy transition in Western Australia.
Activities include undertaking research and analysis on the sector, reviewing and updating compliance guidelines, preparing reports and training materials, overseeing components of the online database,



and providing advice to internal and external stakeholders on AES matters.
These roles would best suit professionals with experience in working with regulatory frameworks as a regulator or as a regulated entity.
Knowledge of the water, electricity or gas sector is an advantage, but not essential.
