About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 July ****
The Workplace Operations Officer supports the delivery of facilities and workplace operations across Departmental sites by coordinating maintenance, managing contractors, responding to workplace issues, and providing high-quality customer service.
The role also develops preventative maintenance schedules, manages reactive maintenance, builds robust relationships with service providers and stakeholders, and helps ensure assets are managed efficiently.
Works collaboratively with others, shares knowledge, and supports the team to achieve common goals.
Looks for opportunities to improve processes, embraces innovation, and values feedback to deliver better outcomes.
Plans, prioritises, and delivers work effectively while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
Builds positive relationships with stakeholders, provides excellent customer service, and resolves issues constructively.
Communicates clearly,



understands different perspectives, and supports asset maintenance activities in line with policies and procedures.

Qualifications and experience
You'llbring:
Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or significant experience in a similar role ( desirable)
Property, facilities or workplace management experience in a government context is desired (desirable)
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
