Location: Hamilton, Brisbane - with travel to our regional offices and sites
Hours: Full Time
OCU is a global infrastructure and energy services business with more than 5,000 people delivering projects that power communities and support the energy transition. Our Australian and New Zealand operations are growing rapidly, creating opportunities to strengthen the capability that supports our people and our continued success.
As our Australian and New Zealand operations continue to grow, we're investing in a regional Talent Acquisition function that partners closely with each of our operating businesses while building consistent recruitment practices across the group. This is an prospect to join at an exciting stage, helping shape the future of recruitment while supporting the unique strengths of each business. There's a lot of work from day one, professional, labour and specialist recruitment across our ANZ businesses, with contract wins landing regularly. And, more importantly, you're not stepping into a finished process, you'd be helping build it. The templates, the way we work with hiring managers, the systems that will still be running as we scale. A lot of that will get decided in the next twelve months, and you'll have had a real hand in it. This is a genuine opportunity for the right person with a growth mindset.
If you've ever joined a business and every process was already decided before you walked in the door, this is different as nothing is fixed yet. You get to help shape it!
What you'll be doing
Owning roles end to end, from brief to offer,
across qualified, labour and specialist hiring
Building real pipelines using Seek and direct sourcing
Getting in front of hiring managers across the region and becoming their first call for recruiting needs
Keeping data clean and accurate, so we can see what's actually happening on the ground
Calling out what isn't working, because you'll be one of the people who helps fix it
Who this suits
Someone who has recruited in-house or agency, can carry volume without losing the detail, and is comfortable when the answer is "we haven't worked that out yet, what do you think?"
You don't need integration experience, but you do need to be the kind of person who's happy to build things properly by asking the right questions and working within the frameworks we're setting up, rather than waiting to be handed a finished process.
What you get
A key role within our growing Talent Acquisition function, reporting to our ANZ Chief People Officer, with support from our Group Resourcing Director as we continue to build our regional capability.
The opportunity to contribute to the development of recruitment practices and processes across Australia and New Zealand as we bring together our businesses.
A broad and varied role with exposure to business transformation, growth and acquisition activity.
The opportunity to grow your capability as the function and the business continue to evolve.
Please note that we are not able to offer sponsorship or relocation for this role.
