Project Engineer – Security & Building Systems
We're partnering with a global leader in electronic security and building automation to hire a Project Engineer into their Central Technology Team.
This is a hands‐on, technically diverse role where you'll own the engineering lifecycle across security and BAS integration projects, from analysing specs and contracts through to programming, commissioning, and handover.
You'll be the go‐to technical contact for customers and a trusted advisor to project managers and sales teams alike.
What you'll be doing:
You'll analyse plans, functional specifications, and contracts to define project requirements and drive delivery from commencement through close‐out.
You'll prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams, program and troubleshoot systems, and provide onsite commissioning support.
There's scope to get involved in custom integrations, systems upgrades, network configuration, and mentoring junior engineers.
What you'll need:
A degree in Electronics, Mechatronics,
Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, paired with at least five years in the electronic security industry.
Strong programming and troubleshooting skills across security and/or building automation platforms are essential.
You'll be comfortable reading plans, preparing documentation, and managing multiple project workstreams.
Experience in data centre environments, BIM360, or Revizto is a bonus.
A valid driver's licence and security licence are required.
