About the Role
We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant - Fixed Assets to join their growing finance team.
This role will own the fixed asset register, supporting the full asset lifecycle from acquisition through disposal, while contributing to month-end reporting and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
Process asset additions, disposals, and transfers
Assist with depreciation and month-end activities
Support asset tracking, stocktakes, and reporting
Prepare audit documentation and investigate discrepancies
About you
Degree/Diploma qualified in an accounting, finance or related discipline
2 + years experience in a accounting support or asset administration role (need exposure to fixed assets)
Robust attention to detail and reconciliation skills
Intermediate Excel skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively
