The role will plan and manage end-to-end of large sized programs/projects of high complexity, with a high level of risk and with significant business criticality.
The role will ensure program/project results contribute positive business value and meet agreed scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives utilizing multiple delivery approaches including Agile.
It will maintain the overall integrity and coherence of the program, with strong management of inter‐dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.
It includes the co‐ordination of new capability for the business to enable effective change and realization of projected benefits.
Description of division and business unit
The S&I; Business Programs function is the project delivery business unit servicing the Super and Investment business, accountable to design, deliver and manage innovative solutions that meet the current and future needs of our customers.
About the role:
Strong team leadership and ability to instil a vision for the program, creating a motivating environment and building a team culture with focus on ownership, delivery and collaboration across business and IT
Contemporary project management skills, including strong planning with an ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, manage dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues and instil stakeholder confidence
Distributed teams
Ability to establish effective project governance and controls to deliver quality outcomes
Strong commercial focus and business judgement with the ability to drive programme budget efficiencies
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills, demonstrating ability to maintain effective relationships, ensure project is aligned to business objectives and negotiate trade‐offs between business need and project do‐ability
Delivering effective communications tailored for different audiences at all levels




Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve problems/roadblocks and maintain delivery momentum
Ability to understand Technology and translate them to financial terms
Identification and implementation of mitigating controls with consideration of associated costs and benefits to allow the business to make informed risk and control management decisions
Experience in delivering financial transformation projects is desirable
Experience in working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments is desirable
Excellent collaboration with other Streams within the Service‐X Program to ensure dependencies are proactively managed
