Strategic Program Manager, AWS Professional Services
Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a senior transformation leader with deep Financial Services (FSI) consulting pedigree and a passion for delivering measurable, lasting impact through Agentic AI.
In this role, you will own the end‐to‐end delivery of complex, multi‐workstream Agentic AI transformation programmes for ANZ's most strategic financial services customers, translating C‐suite priorities into executable strategies and tangible business outcomes.
You will lead the next generation of AI‐led transformation, including Builder Experience Transformation and large‐scale modernisation engagements underpinned by AWS Agentic AI accelerators and tooling such as AWS Transform (ATX).
You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, technical innovation, and large‐scale programme execution, shaping how regulated FSI enterprises adopt agentic systems at scale.
With significant autonomy, you will shape transformation roadmaps, navigate ambiguity and regulatory complexity, build high‐performing delivery teams, and serve as the leadership voice on programme health to senior client executives.
This is not a programme coordination role; it is a strategic leadership position where your judgement, commercial acumen, and ability to drive consensus across complex stakeholder landscapes will determine programme success.
In this capacity, you will be based in Australia or New Zealand and may be required to travel or be at customer site up to 50% of the time.
You will report to the ANZ ProServe Area Delivery Leader.
You will work alongside some of the world's leading technologists and have access to AWS's full breadth of AI, data, and cloud services to architect transformational outcomes that traditional consulting cannot deliver.

Demonstrated success building and sustaining trusted C‐suite relationships, influencing investment decisions, and steering executive governance forums
Deep expertise in scaled Agile delivery methodologies (SAFe, Scrum@Scale) with a track record of adapting frameworks to complex enterprise contexts
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical and strategic concepts to diverse audiences, from engineering teams to board‐level executives

Experience developing and delivering high‐impact executive presentations, business cases, and transformation narratives
Track record of leading complex, multi‐party programmes in matrixed environments, orchestrating delivery across internal teams, system integrators, and consulting partners
7+ years of leading multiple Agile teams (such as Scrum Masters or Product Owners) concurrently or at scale
7+ years of leading and delivering enterprise‐level IT engagements
Bachelor's degree in STEM field
Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Experience in leading and delivering enterprise‐level IT engagements
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education

Hands‐on experience with AWS services, architectures, and best practices in enterprise‐scale environments
Practical application of AWS frameworks (Well‐Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) to inform programme decision‐making and solution governance
Understanding of FSI regulatory and risk considerations relevant to AI and cloud adoption in the ANZ market
Relevant certifications: Project Management Skilled (PMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the end‐to‐end delivery of large‐scale, multi‐workstream Agentic AI transformation programmes for FSI customers, ensuring measurable business outcomes
Lead Builder Experience Transformation and modernisation engagements underpinned by AWS Agentic AI accelerators and tooling such as AWS Transform (ATX), embedding agentic ways of working into customer delivery organisations
Translate complex customer strategic objectives into actionable programme roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and success metrics
Serve as the primary strategic advisor to C‐suite executives, shaping the agentic transformation vision and influencing investment decisions
Build, lead, and inspire high‐performing multidisciplinary delivery teams across AWS, customer, and partner organisations

Chair executive steering committees, drive critical decisions, and manage escalations with authority and composure
