About the role
We are currently looking to hire an experiencedSenior Estimatorfor ourSteel SAdivision.
You'll manage and estimate Design & Construct and pre-designed steel projects from concept through to hand-over.
It's a hands‐on role, you'll own project costs, timelines and quality outcomes, while building solid relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
What you'll do
Estimate project costs across materials, equipment and labour
Lead single or multiple projects end-to-end within cost, quality, safety and time targets
Evaluate project risks and opportunities through research and analysis




Negotiate and manage supply of labour and materials
Act as the key point of contact for clients on project matters
Keep the Project Management team updated on progress
Flag any substandard workmanship/cost related issues early
Stay across the latest construction techniques and industry trends
What you'll bring
Experience with estimating systems/programs
Solid exposure to the construction industry
Current driver's licence and White Card
Strong planning, time management and prioritisation skills
Confident communicator who builds relationships internally and externally easily
Ability to lead others and make sound calls under pressure
Nice to have
First Aid Certificate
Tertiary quals in building, engineering, quantity surveying or similar
Experience with building estimating systems
