AAMG has partnered with a leading Tier 1 mining company to recruit an experiencedPlanning Superintendentto join their Brisbane-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic maintenance planning professional to lead a high-performing team and drive long-term Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) maintenance planning across a large mining operation.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Group Manager – Asset Operations, Planning & Strategy, you will lead a team of 10 planners responsible for delivering long-term maintenance planning outcomes for a large HME fleet.
You will play a key role in developing maintenance strategies, optimising asset performance, and ensuring planning processes support safe, reliable, and efficient mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance planners.
Develop and oversee long-term maintenance plans for Heavy Mobile Equipment.
Drive planning excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.




Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise asset performance and fleet availability.
Ensure planning activities align with operational and business objectives.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in long-term maintenance planning within the mining industry.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience leading planning teams.
Robust working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (S4H) – this is essential.
Experience with AMT4SAP (highly regarded but not essential).
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
