Business Case Manager – CIP Terra Technologies, Melbourne, Australia
Role
The Business Case Manager will manage commercial, financial and business case workstreams within renewable energy projects, ensuring robust financial modelling and supporting the commercial team to protect the business case and execute the commercial agenda.
Responsibilities
Analyze project performance, risks and opportunities across projects.
Evaluate commercial impacts of developments such as offtake, insurance and project financing.
Manage commercial and business case workstreams toward implementation across offtake, financing and budgeting.
Identify upside opportunities and downside risks through analysis.
Develop and maintain financial models to illustrate project returns and performance.
Track project performance against the business case at the investment decision point.
Analyze cost, revenue and financing impacts.
Keep assumption books accurate and up to date.
Prepare high‐quality PowerPoint materials and report on costs, risks, claims and business case impacts.
Support decision materials for senior stakeholders.




Coordinate with the Commercial Director, EPC, procurement and finance teams to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
Relevant finance, commercial or engineering degree, or equivalent.
3–5 years of full‐time experience in complex infrastructure projects.
Experience in renewable energy projects is a plus.
Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to structure and communicate complex information clearly.
Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple disciplines.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines.
