You will play a key role in supporting, securing and evolving a large-scale location and data centre network, working across operational support and project delivery.
This role suits a hands‐on senior engineer who enjoys complex environments, stakeholder engagement and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, support and optimise enterprise network and communications infrastructure across data centre and office environments
Install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco technologies including:Cisco Data Centre switches and DCNM
Cisco FMC / FTD
Cisco ISE
Cisco Wireless, SDA and DNAC
Configure and manageF5 LTMload balancing environments
Perform proactive monitoring, tuning and fault resolution to maintain agreed service levels
Provide high-level network engineering support for incidents, problems and service requests
Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues
Contribute to network design, documentation, standards and operational processes
Support security enhancements and automation initiatives (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Cisco ACI)
Participate in infrequent out-of-hours work and on-call support on a rostered basis
Skills & Experience
Essential
Extensive experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a large,



complex enterprise environment
Solid hands‐on experience with Cisco networking and security technologies, including:Routing & Switching (IOS, NX-OS)
Firewalls (FTD/FMC or equivalent)
SDA, DNAC and enterprise wireless
Solid understanding of networking and security concepts such as:VPN, IPSEC, SSL
Firewalls, IDS/IPS
BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS
TCP/IP and OSI models
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proven experience coordinating network upgrades or implementations across multiple sites
Certifications
CCNP (Enterprise or Security) minimum
CCIE highly regarded (or equivalent industry experience)
