ITC Infotechis seeking an experiencedData Governance Managerto lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives for a prestigious client, helping establish a trusted, compliant, and AI-ready data foundation.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a data governance professional who can drive governance maturity, improve data quality, strengthen stewardship practices, and embed a culture where data is treated as a critical business asset.
You will work closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, risk, legal, and security stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, secure, discoverable, and fit for both operational excellence and future AI‐driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and operating models.
Define and execute a comprehensive data governance roadmap aligned with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and long‐term data maturity objectives.
Drive enterprise data quality initiatives, including data profiling, monitoring, remediation, root‐cause analysis, and performance measurement across key business domains.
Establish and maintain data stewardship practices, clearly defining data ownership, accountability, and governance responsibilities across business functions.
Build and enhance metadata management, data lineage, data classification, and master data management capabilities to improve trust, transparency, and usability of data assets.
Implement governance controls and standards across enterprise data platforms, including Microsoft Purview, Snowflake, Experian,



Spirion, and Power BI.
Partner with business, technology, risk, legal, and security teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, security standards, and data governance obligations.
Support AI and advanced analytics initiatives by ensuring strong data quality, lineage, transparency, ethical data use, and lifecycle governance.
Develop governance dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, and reporting frameworks to measure governance effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Lead governance forums, steering committees, and working groups to facilitate data‐driven decision‐making and cross‐functional collaboration.
Promote data literacy, governance awareness, and stewardship capabilities across the organization through training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
Required Experience & Skills:
Proven experience leading enterprise‐scaleData Governance,Data Management, orInformation Managementprograms within complex organizations.
Robust understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality management, data lineage, data cataloging, and master data management principles.
Demonstrated experience implementing and governing data within modern cloud and enterprise ecosystems,



particularlyMicrosoft Purview,Snowflake,Experian,Spirion, andPower BI.
Experience developing trusted data catalogs and end‐to‐end lineage capabilities that improve data discoverability, transparency, and confidence in business reporting.
Deep understanding of privacy, compliance, and risk management requirements, including data protection and responsible data usage practices.
Experience supporting AI and analytics initiatives through improved governance, data quality, accountability, and ethical data management practices.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‐technical audiences.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines.
Industry certifications such asDAMA CDMP, DCAM, ISO *****, or equivalentwill be highly regarded.
