Our globally recognised company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, business-focused Operations Manager to lead our Canberra Operations team.
Based in Hume, Canberra, our Australian Capital Territory location is home to the largest storage warehouse in our Australia and New Zealand network.
Responsibilities will include;
This is a key leadership role responsible for the Moving P&L; including: delivering operational excellence, managing teams, and ensuring outstanding customer service across domestic and international relocations
Lead and support the Canberra Operations team, ensuring employees receive the training and guidance needed to achieve individual and branch objectives
Take ownership of the Canberra P&L;, with a focus on performance, efficiency, and cost control
Plan and manage the daily allocation of operational resources to meet customer service standards while staying within direct cost targets
Ensure full compliance with all OH&S; regulations and standards
Act as the first point of escalation for significant customer enquiries and issues
Prepare management reports as required and actively participate in management meetings
Optimise the use of branch resources to support achievement of operational and budget targets




Maintain operational standards and drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction

Experience in Household Goods Relocation (highly advantageous)
Robust verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‐focused mindset
Effective time management and follow‐up skills, with the ability to prioritise and respond quickly in a dynamic operation
A highly motivated and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
