Due to continued growth, an exciting chance has become available for an experienced Project Engineer to deliver technically challenging capital equipment projects while working alongside a highly experienced project delivery team.
The Opportunity
As the Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing engineered solutions and managing projects from initial concept through to commissioning and final handover. Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll provide technical expertise throughout the sales process before leading project execution to ensure successful delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem solving with project management while working across a diverse range of industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop customised engineering solutions to meet customer requirements
Provide technical support to customers and the sales team
Manage capital equipment projects from order through to commissioning and handover
Coordinate procurement, subcontractors and installation activities
Monitor project schedules,
budgets and project risks to ensure successful delivery
Ensure projects comply with Australian Standards and internal quality requirements
About You
We're looking for an engineer with experience delivering capital equipment projects within an OEM, industrial or manufacturing environment. You'll enjoy working directly with customers, solving technical challenges and managing projects from concept through to completion.
Develop engineered solutions based on customer requirements and technical specifications
Perform equipment selection, application engineering and technical evaluations
Prepare engineering calculations, equipment schedules and technical documentation
Support the sales team with technical advice, site visits and customer presentations
Manage capital equipment projects from order through to commissioning and handover
Coordinate procurement, installation and subcontractors
Monitor project schedules, budgets and project risks to ensure successful delivery
Ensure all projects comply with Australian Standards and internal quality requirements
