Downer are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding Power Projects team, this role maybe located NSW, VIC or QLD.
The Power Projects team is vastly growing; we're now seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects in a secure, timely, cost effective and innovative manner.
The successful incumbent can envision themselves attending to duties such as:
What you'll do
Drive end-to-end delivery of substation, transmission and BESS projects
Lead tender submissions through to execution and project close-out
Own scope, design coordination and construction methodology across complex power assets
Develop and manage WBS, project schedules, budgets and cost forecasts
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards
Champion Zero Harm and ensure compliance with Downer standards and governance
Provide accurate, timely financial reporting on all direct and indirect costs
Deliver consistent, high-quality reporting within required timeframes

We are a Tier 1 ASX listed company with in-house capabilities that far exceed traditional contractor environments
What we're looking for
Diploma qualification in Project Management and Engineering Degree is preferred
AIPM Accreditation CPPM or equivalent
Demonstrated capability across end-to-end project management on complex power infrastructure projects
Proven ability to deliver against contractual and financial targets in live project environments
Solid understanding of AS/NZ/ISO standards and relevant electrical industry legislation
Ability to travel and attend site
Advanced capability with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
Strong expertise in, financial management, budgeting, risk identification, mitigation and control, subcontract & procurement management
Proven capability to lead project teams while contributing within a collaborative environment
