Role Description
The Insurance Broker role at Harrow & Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW.
The Insurance Broker will advise clients on appropriate insurance products, assess coverage needs, and compare policy options across providers to secure suitable solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing quotes, managing applications and renewals, and maintaining accurate client records.
The role also involves collaborating with lenders and insurers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing ongoing support to clients as their financial and insurance needs evolve.
The Insurance Broker will contribute to client education,
helping individuals understand how insurance integrates with their broader financial and retirement planning goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with experience advising on and arranging a range of personal and/or commercial insurance products.
Candidates should possess sound Finance and Retirement Planning skills, with the ability to explain how insurance fits into broader wealth-building and long-term financial strategies.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-first approach to building long-term relationships.
Candidates should possess relevant regulatory knowledge, such as Australian insurance and financial services regulations, and maintain any required licenses or industry accreditations.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with CRM and office software tools.
Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively in an in office team environment and manage multiple client engagements efficiently.
Relevant qualifications in finance, insurance, business, or a related field are beneficial; prior experience in brokerage or financial advisory roles is highly regarded.
