We're looking for Field Maintenance Technicians to support our East Coast Metals Mining Services team.
Location & Working Conditions
FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville
Flexible rosters: ***** or 8/6
Supporting operations across the Mount Isa region
Role Overview
In this role, you'll provide field-based maintenance and breakdown support across mobile and fixed plant equipment, playing a critical part in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical breakdowns on mobile and fixed plant
Performing scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance
Supporting site teams with equipment reliability and performance
Identifying risks and taking action to ensure safe operations
Contributing to maintenance planning and continuous improvement
Providing on-site support and client engagement where needed
Promoting and following strong safety practices and compliance standards
Candidate Profile
Ability to diagnose and repair heavy vehicle or plant equipment faults
Strong commitment to safety, risk awareness, and compliance
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
Problem‐solving mindset with a focus on quality and service delivery
Valid driver's license




Desirable Skills
Experience with Volvo trucks or mining equipment
Exposure to auto electrical systems
Knowledge of explosives‐related compliance (AEC, ADG, MPU, AS****)
HR license or similar
Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
