Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner (The Orange Door) - Locum
Heidelberg, VIC | Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH) | SCHADS Level 6 - $***** per hour + Super | 4-8 Week Contract | Potential to Extend or Transition to Permanent
Are you an experienced Specialist Family Violence Practitioner with recent The Orange Door experience? We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join a busy Orange Door Hub in Heidelberg on an initial 4-8 week locum contract, with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role.
About the Role
As a Specialist Family Violence Hub Practitioner, you will play a critical role in supporting victim survivors of family violence by:
Conducting comprehensive family violence risk assessments.
Developing safety plans with victim survivors and their children.
Providing specialist family violence interventions and case coordination.
Facilitating referrals and connecting clients with appropriate support services.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Orange Door Hub to deliver integrated responses.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 12 months' experience working within The Orange Door.
Demonstrated experience undertaking family violence risk assessments and safety planning.
Sound knowledge of the MARAM Framework and Victorian family violence service system.
Strong communication, engagement, and collaboration skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications that meet family violence sector requirements.
An Orange Door Manager reference that can speak to your recent performance and practice.
What's on Offer?
Full time, Monday to Friday position (open to four days)
Hybrid work model - 3 days in the Heidelberg office and 2 days working from home.
SCHADS Level 6 - $***** per hour + Super.
4-8 week locum contract with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent position.
