Job Description
Join our dedicated social work team as a Social Work Lecturer Level B and unlock your potential to make a lasting impact. You will teach students to become real‐world‐ready practitioners who are passionate, ethical, and eager to positively influence society.
Responsibilities
Ignite intellectual curiosity by leading tutorials, workshops, placement units, and clinical sessions.
Develop and review units and course materials, collaborating with senior social work academics.
Participate periodically in scholarly research projects to contribute to the advancement of the Social Work field.
Reflect on teaching practice, using feedback to continually improve methods.
Engage in formal professional development activities to stay current with teaching approaches.
Contribute to discipline meetings, influencing the future of Social Work education.
Qualifications
Postgraduate qualifications in Social Work.
Strong understanding of effective educational practices and experience in tertiary education.
Proven industry experience in the Social Work field.
Eligibility for membership of AASW (Australian Association of Social Work).
Passion for mentoring the next generation of social workers.
